Adidas and Porsche Design have collaborated on a new collection of footwear for the Spring / Summer season of 2010, focusing on the theme of ‘water / snow’.

The feature attraction of the collection is the AC Bowman, tested and engineered in cooperation with Jochen Shümann, 3-time Olympic Gold medalist and 2-time America’s Cup winner for sailing.

The low profile shoes, available in neutral tones and black, can be used for both inshore and offshore racing, because of their fast-drying mesh upper and sticky rubber outsole wet deck traction. The footwear also incorporates leather and mesh uppers with adiPRENE® technology.

The collection will be available in January 2010.
