Designed by David Keune the ‘Armor’ sideboard is a stand alone piece of furniture which offers shelter for one’s valuables. To reveal the contents of what is inside, the three ‘doors’ slides slid into one another in one fluid movement and are connected to the interior display shelf.
‘The oak wood parts show clear respect to the tradition of ancient wooden chests, enclosing and protecting precious items. The angular shapes refer to the modern way of protection and defendance.’
