‘betontapete’: a concrete look-a-like wallpaper by s.wert

betontapete‘, that means 10 square meters of wall are decorated in a puristic concrete look. Tadao Ando  once called concrete ‘Marble of the 20th Century ‘. Zaha Hadid thinks that concrete is ‘somehow sexy’. betontapete made the heavy weight of concrete construction materials some pounds lighter and invented concrete wallpaper – a paperbased wallpaper that almost looks  like real concrete but still got the advantages of a wallpaper. From the 30th June on betontapete shows its pre-collection at s.wert flagship store, Berlin.

In tribute to the undelightful 70′s fashion brick wall wallpaper, betontapete designed a wallpaper looking like concrete: betontapete. Thanks to betontapete you are able to get the look of concrete wherever you want – even on a wall of bricks!’
