Firefox logo update

Firefox logo evolution

In recent weeks Mozilla unveiled a new logo for the latest version of Firefox. The well-known identity was revamped by Anthony Piraino directed by the original logo designer and Mozilla team.

The original firefox logo was designed by Jon Hicks in 2004, based on a concept from Daniel Burka that was partially inspired by artwork found in his childhood bible.

The new version of the logo includes finer detail and depth shading on the fox, flames that wrap around the globe horizontally and a glossier globe that has more abstract land formations. Full details of the update can be found on the firefox blog.
