‘Reading Lamp’ by Jun Yasumoto

0 Comments 14 November 2009

‘A lamp that shuts off when you put a book on it, and that turns on when you take your book to read it.’

‘Reading Lamp’ consists of polycarbonate, a compact fluorescent light and an electronic infra-red switch.

Japanese designer Jun Yasumoto created ‘Reading Lamp’ in 2002 as part of a group project developed with Alban Le Henry, Olivier Pigasse and Vincent Vandenbrouck.
