‘Sky Planter’ by Patrick Morris

0 Comments 16 September 2009

Patrick Morris was born into the ceramics industry with his family business Morris & James, New Zealand’s leading ceramic design and manufacturing firm.

Patrick leapt into his career by winning the UK New Designers Award for Ceramic Design, shortly after graduating from London’s Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.

His award-winning ‘Sky Planter‘ has generated strong international interest from different industry sectors, including architecture and film. He is currently working on the ‘Sky Planter’ family of planters and tirelessly developing new design ideas.

A revolutionary reservoir system feeds water gradually to the plant’s roots. This conserves water and saves you time. A simple locking disc holds the plant and soil in place allowing you to use your ‘Sky Planter’ indoors, leaving your surfaces mess-free.

You can hang the ‘Sky Planter’ from the ceiling or a wall-mount, freeing up precious floor-space.

With a ‘Sky Planter’ you can reduce your watering of household plants by up to 80%, purify your air and save your time by refill the self-watering ‘Sky Planter’ CLASSIC only once or twice a month.
