The Bombay Sapphire Foundation has invited emerging designers from around the world to design the ultimate Martini cocktail glass inspired by Bombay Sapphire in the ‘Designer Glass Competition 2009′.
The overall Global Winner will receive £5,000, the 2nd Prize Winner £3,000 and the 3rd Prize Winner £2,000. Plus, not only is there an overall winner, but the public also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite glass online in the ‘Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition People’s Prize’. From early August until 21st September you will have a chance to vote for your favorite glass design.
The glass with the most votes will win the ‘People’s Prize’, a beautiful Baccarat crystal trophy, and will be shortlisted as one of the top four global finalists in the running for the £10,000 prize fund.
The first prize winners from around the world have now been selected to participate in the Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition Global Final, which will be held on September 23 in London, during the UK’s biggest design event, the London Design Festival.
